Designer Geckos obtains the fine geckos in our collection from only the best, high quality gecko breeding experts in the industry who are committed to producing premium leopard geckos.  We have made a substantial investment in obtaining the most outstanding, brightly colored breeding stock available to ensure that our geckos will be among the best 5 star geckos available in the world.

Here are some of the projects we are planning...(for the breeders' pictures see our geckos on this page):

- Designer Geckos Tangerines: This line will be a combination of Jason, our star Gecko Genetics Tang male, and Angel, the beautiful JMG Blood Hypo Tang.  (Some have said that Jason may be one of the best Tangerines in the world today.) Both animals have incredible coloring and spectacular carrot tails.  These offspring are sure to be 5 star geckos with amazing color, size, and temperament.  Watch for these offspring this summer...

- Sunset Tangerines: The Sunset Tangerine line will be a continuation of the very popular Gecko Genetics line.  The foundation male for this project will be Sunset, an incredibly-colored super orange male with awesome carrot tail, and Lillie, our very beautiful and friendly Gecko Genetics female.  These will be amazingly bright orange geckos with the high quality that Gecko Genetics was always so well-known for.

- Torrid Tangerine Enigmas: These stunning geckos will be a combination of Sunset, our gorgeous bright orange tangerine male, and Venus, our very beautiful Albey line TTE female with striking colors and an outrageous enigma tail.

- Designer Geckos Neon Yellow Sunglows:  Our Sunglow line will be one of the most exciting Sunglow lines on the market today.  We have decided to produce a super bright, neon yellow line, centered around our incredible, highly-acclaimed male, Sunrise, and our beautiful female, Tequila, with a 90% carrot tail.  If Sunglows are what you are looking for, these will be extremely beautiful, bright yellow animals with great size and temperament.

- Starlight Line: This is one of our most exciting projects planned for this year.  Starlight, our one of a kind Lavender Reverse Stripe Snow Eclipse female, is one of the most spectacular geckos in the world today.  Her amazing colors and patterns are unparalleled, plus she is an extremely smart, friendly gecko with huge size too.  She will be bred to Orion, our beautiful Giant Lavender Reverse Stripe male that looks very much like Starlight...a match made in heaven!  Watch for these show-stopping babies in the coming months.

Saxman:

Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy Male

This superb tangerine male (from the Albey tangerine CT line) is a solid orange colored gecko.  Saxman also has a super friendly personality to match his great color, perfect conformation, and great carrot tail.  He is a great personality gecko, and loves to watch TV and socialize with people!

Venus: 

Torrid Tangerine Enigma Female

Venus is a brand new morph released in 2009 by Albey Scholl.  Her unbelievable coloration is a great example of why so many of us get drawn into the leopard gecko hobby!  She is truly a remarkable animal, and will be bred with our prize tangerine male, Saxman, to produce stunning animals.  We look forward to these babies with great anticipation!

Big Momma:

Giant Banded Tremper Albino Female

We are honored to have this beautiful banded giant female from the Tremper line in our collection.  Big Momma (aka Sweetie) is a granddaughter of the famous giant, Moose, and she is a really special gecko with a super friendly personality....she is our "training gecko", so we use her to tame new geckos by handling her around them, and we also use her to train people on the wonders and handling of these great creatures.  Her personality and intelligence are incredible, and her offspring will always be special animals to be sure!

Tequila: 

Sunglow Female

This is a great example of the neon yellow sunglow that Designer Geckos will be producing in the near future.  Her brilliant yellow coloration, gorgeous 90% carrot tail, top notch genetics, and wonderful personality are sure to produce outstanding 5 star offspring.  Combining Tequila with Sunrise is sure to mix an amazing cocktail of gecko wonder and beautiful sunshiney babies for years to come!

Angel: 

Super Hypo Tangerine x Blood Hypo Female 

Angel is an absolutely stunning beauty.  We were lucky to obtain this great JMG gecko, and are continually dazzled by her outrageous colors, brilliant coral orange carrot tail, and perfect conformation, plus her charming personality make her one of the most prized geckos in our collection.

Our plan is to breed her with Jason, our top-notch SHTCTB from the Gecko Genetics line.

Violet: 

Giant Banded Spotted Lavender Female 

Violet Rutherford is a beautifully colored giant banded lavender with incredible spotting and markings....truly a very unique gecko.  Check out the black heart on her nose and the smiley face markings on the head.  We are anxious to see what her offspring will look like in the coming months.

Carrie:

Sunglow Female

Carrie is one of our neon yellow sunglow females, and has a very flashy white-striped carrot tail. Our goal is to breed sunglows with extreme "highlighter" yellow coloration.  These super yellow sunglows are hard to come by, and we have taken a great deal of care in selecting the very brightest yellow sunglows for our line.

She is being bred with Sunrise, our incredible sunglow male.  (Sunglasses not provided).

Starlight: 

Lavender Reverse Stripe Mack Snow Eclipse

Starlight is a one in a million gecko that we were very lucky to acquire. She has solid black eyes, incredible coloration, and a stunning, unparalleled purple dorsal stripe.  We plan to produce the "Starlight" line in the coming months.

Stay tuned for what are sure to be show-stopping offspring from this beautiful gecko.

Orion: 

Giant Lavender Reverse Stripe Male

Orion is the line bred Giant Lavender Reverse Stripe male we will be using to produce our Starlight line. Orion grew at an incredible rate and it was quickly evident he was a Giant, (as was his father). He is a very uniquely-colored gecko, with great personality and intelligence. The babies from that pairing are sure to be phenomenal acquisitions.

Rose:  

Snow Diablo Blanco Female

Rose, aka Pinkie, is a beautiful pure white animal with a pinkish hue and solid red eyes! She is a brand new morph, a Snow Diablo Blanco, produced by breeder Garrick DeMeyer.This gorgeous girl is one of the most beautiful leos in our collection.

Alfie: 

Red Stripe x Lavender Stripe Male

Here's one of our favorite lovable boys that sits on the couch and watches TV!  Alfie is very friendly and has an awesome disposition. He is a very uniquely colored and marked gecko, with superb golds and oranges, and splashes of lavender.

Alfie is a JMG red stripe x lavender stripe cross.....he's going to be a monster male....food is his favorite!

Lillie: 

Tangerine Female 

Lillie is one of our favorite geckos, and is not only strikingly beautiful and poised, but she is super smart and very friendly.

She is one of our highly regarded breeders from the Gecko Genetics line, and will produce incredible tangerine babies for years to come!

Jason:

Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy Male

Jason, regarded by many as one of the very best tangerines in the world today, is an awesome Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy from the Gecko Genetics line.  A massive male, he has developed into a very beautiful golden orange Tangerine, with great conformation, blazing tangerine color, and one of the best carrot tails ever seen in a Tangerine.

Sunrise:

Tremper Sunglow Male

Sunrise is one of the most spectacular neon yellow male Sunglows we have ever seen. 

Breeder Garrick DeMeyer called Sunny one of the best geckos he ever raised. He is a huge male, and is a really gentle giant.  His babies with Tequila and Carrie will be awesome, bright yellow Sunglows!

Sunset:

Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail Baldy Male

Sunset is an amazingly colored bright orange gecko from the Gecko Genetics tangerine line. He is said to be the brightest orange to have ever been produced from that line, and is considered by some in the field to be one of the very best orange tangerines today. His babies will be brilliantly colored and outstanding pickups for any high end collection.

Boulder:

Bold Stripe Mack Snow Male

Boulder is a very beautiful Bold Stripe Mack Snow male from the JMG line. His intensely black pattern bordering and markings are going to intensify any breeding project, and combined with other Snows or Bold Stripes, he is sure to produce beautiful offspring with striking black markings.

Baby Doll:

Bold Stripe Mack Snow Female

Baby Doll is an amazing and unique Bold Stripe Mack Snow female, with two gorgeous lavender bold stripes.  We are thrilled to have added her to our collection.  Baby Doll will be bred with Jack to produce Double Bold Stripe Snows.  Her wonderful, friendly, and calm personality make her a great all around 5 star gecko.

Don't be fooled by his intimidating look....T Rex is really a pussy cat.  The first son to be released from the Super Giant (world's largest gecko), Godzilla, will himself be a gentle giant that could be the sort legends are made of, as with Godzilla and Moose .  His massive size, beautiful coloring,  tremendous conformation and super tame personality make him one of the most amazing geckos in our collection.  Many thanks to breeder Steve Sykes for allowing us this rare opportunity to obtain one of the most spectacular Super Giants ever produced.
